RADIOFREQUENCY-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION OR BODYTITE: THE NEW KID in the BLOCK!
RADIOFREQUENCY-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION OR BODYTITE
Radiofrequency- assisted liposuction is also known as Body Tite or RFAL. It is a procedure that uses non-surgical radiofrequency assisted liposuction to contour, define and tighten areas that have excess fat in the body, including arms, neck, buttocks, thighs, hips, abdomen and knees. Body Tite can help achieve that body goal a person wants by helping to remove excess stubborn fat and loose skin around some areas of the body. During the procedure which is minimally invasive, radiofrequency energy is focused and applied through a tiny cannulas into the area of treatment. A cannula is inserted underneath the skin, while an electrode is positioned on the skin surface. Electrical current flows from the tip of the cannula to the electrode, in the process it creates a contained thermal field with 100 percent energy concentration, which in turn maximizes fat coagulation and contraction of the skin. Traditional liposuction doesn’t have the effect a Body Tite has, as it cannot tighten the skin. In the traditional liposuction process, the patients usually are required to get additional surgery to annihilate excess sagging skin. Body Tite doesn’t have that problem, in fact, it solves the problem by delivering targeted radiofrequency energy during liposuction which penetrates to the deeper skin layers, causing instant contraction and emergence of new collagen for months after the treatment. Body Tite procedure is safe and is done under a controlled environment. The device automatically regulates the temperature as needed during the procedure, thereby producing uniform heating throughout the entire layers of the skin.

The effectiveness of Body Tite in tightening of the skin when combined with liposuction cannot is top notch. Body Tite targets the excess, saggy and loose skins that remains after the loss of fat deposits that are in the body. It is very potent especially for women after birth when they what to get back their pre-pregnancy body shape, also generally potent for people whose skin have lost elasticity. One important point to note is, even as Body Tite helps to reduce body fat, it shouldn’t be taken as a weight loss procedure. Generally, patients with overweight issues are not the ideal ones for radiofrequency-assisted liposuction. The results of a radiofrequency-assisted liposuction session is often times seen immediately, more improvement will be noticed months after the procedure.
The benefits of radiofrequency-assisted liposuction cannot be overstated, some of the benefits include:
No risks of general anesthesia – due to the short time involved in carrying out the procedure, most patients are comfortable under local anesthesia or light sedation for the surgery.
Tightening of the skin – after a successful Body Tite session, loose skins will be gone as patients will get tighter skin due to building of renewed collagen. The radiofrequency waves dissolve unwanted fat, also encourages the production of collagen which helps in tightening the skin. Patients usually appear more toned after the procedure.
Improved safety- Body Tite procedure is unlikely to damage skin and tissues surrounding the spot of the surgery. Due to the device’s temperature regulation feature, there is also minimal risk of heat and thermal injuries.
Quick recovery time – patients usually get back to active daily activities within 2-3 days due to minimally invasive and gentle nature of the procedure.
